Trapped among the Rock.

I can see why the government would consider Alcatraz to be inescapable because it literally is a island surrounded by rock and i dont think anyone who could really try to escape, could. the information given on the website made it seem a not so scary place to be, as i discovered it was a public viewing spot where people can go for a visit. thats kindve creepy. figuratively speaking, i can see why the government would create Alcatraz to be a federal penitentiary because when you read information about the place, such as the climate, you get this dark, moody feeling that this area is not welcoming. if its very cold during the winter, i dont see why anyone would enjoy being their other than the hisory that has taken place there.
