Hope someone reads this.

I think one of the main frustrations of only being able to write to loved ones during war is the fact that if something happened to you, there a possibility no one will get your letter. Also if someone writes to you while your out fighting, theres a possibility that you'll never get it. When I message someone and its important I eagerly wait for a response. Sometimes I get so used to being responded in seconds, and then I have to wait more than that and I feel like I'm going crazy. I myself would be really frustrated having to wait for months to hear from anyone. Especially someone I truly care about, especially if I might never see them again.

Watch your rear.

Dog fights are kind of like when your play fighting with a friend while walking somewhere. You and your friend keep fighting to stay behind each other. When your in front your paranoid that your friend is gonna hit you. Its also like jousting when ever your face to face, because every time you meet you try to get a hit the keep going.
Also if you fly straight your a gonner. So to sum it up, the whole tim the pilot in the dogfight is probably thinking. Spin, barrel role, pin, barrel role, i'm behind, shoot, swerve, spin, shoot.

darn mosquitos!

Dear Journal,
Just got out of work. Couldn't be more exhausted. A mosquito bit me today, left a giant welt on my wrist. Charlie got his hand blown off today, cause there was a short fuse on a stick of dynomite he was gonna use. Not to mention Bob is in the hospital on the count of a really bad fever. Think I got whatever Bob has, cause i feel terrible. hope i feel better by tomorrow.

Lets NOT train kids to be killers.

I don't think america should train kids to kill. First of all, the SOA is kind of pointless when we have militaries and police forces that are trained for things such as combat, and counter insurgency. Also you know who else was probably taught all this stuff as a child? Fidel Castro. Look at him, he's a dictator. It seems to me like this school is just training a whole bunch of potential dictators. Whoever thinks that training private militaries, for rich and powerful organizations, that can at any time turn on there governments is a good idea, seriously should be killed before they end up overthrowing a government.

Rich man, Poor man

Bourgeoise and Proletariate are like employee and employer. Bourgeosie is like the business thats supposed to provide a good or service, while proletariate is the worker working for the business who actually provides the good or service. In "Charlie and the Chocolate factory", Willy Wonka and/or his chocolate factory were the bourgeoise.
The proletariate are the "Oompa Loompas".

Well since you asked...

My favorite blog, well im having trouble choosing between Should countries leave pieces of their history out and the six word story. I loved writing about if countires should "sugarcoa" things for students not to look at the united states wrong. i love the word sugarcoat, its just so perfect. and also the six word story, its so short. but it can be so emotional and have so much meaning. i mean if you write about anything think about how much power those 6 words ALONE have. its amazing that someone came up with that. its like stuffing all of your feelings into a box where you can only fit a cotton ball into.

Time to give up those pens and start saving the trees!

Blogging to me personally, is the best way to even do things that fall under the category of homework. Who cares about worksheets half the time they dont even help anyone learn anything. THEIR BORING, and teachers give out way to many of them. every single day its the same thing. open your book...read...heres this worksheet take it home for your homework. blah blah blah. NOW finally something more cool and intresting. every day we go to school who knows how many esays we write hah. writing all day, every class. it gets tiring, but with our teachnology its better to be on the computer since every single day everyone goes on the computer. and its quick and easy to jaught down some of those thoughts and review at the same time what you did that same week without being worried about writing. :D

Remember Oregon Trail...

I think oregon trail was a very fascinating way to review how families started journeys to the west. it is a great way to learn but without all the details. even though it can be quick and fast, it still portrays the fact that you have a family and all the things needed before you go on your trip. such as clothing for everyone, food, tools, weapons/amo etc. and also watching out for everyon. how to handle your money. and being careful crossing those rivers with your oxen. Orgeon Trail was about choice to go through the river or not. to go through the city or country. the choice of trading with others for things you really needed. it certainly did a good job portraying the time when families traveled.

Six Word Story

Continued their journey; Continued till death.

Blogging = L O V E

In my opinion, I very much enjoyed the fact that the first day of school, my teacher said we would be blogging. At that moment I was happy. I already did blog, have a blogger account and everything. But this, this is really cool. It helps state your ideas and opinions the way the student wants. I personally love to do the blogs. It’s sort of like venting in a way. You get out what you want, not what a book tells you to do or your given directions on how you’re supposed to think. You speak your mind, and I truly love that about blogging.
Although, blogging, to me, seems like the funnest thing to do, there’s a con. And that’s procrastination. I know its junior year and these baby cries and procrastinations should be kicked out under the roof to be more focused but it happens. Too bad facebook and blogging is on the same computer screen, but I mean if you can learn to multi task then it really shouldn’t be a problem. Blogging doesn’t really take that much thought as if you were taking a test. It’s all about thoughts. Many people, though, might find this to be a problem because sometimes people don’t know how to multi task then causing them to be distracted to a point where they cannot get their work done.
Blogging is awesome! It is time to throw away that pen and start saving the trees, and blogging is a great way to start. No hassles. Except with computer problems, which are understandable. Personally, after awhile my hands starts to cramp up and causes me to not be able to write anything. Okay, it might not be that bad but I still get tired of writing every single day in each class. And since people are so used to facebook and talking to each other by typing it seems like a quick and easy way to get things done. And still save the environment. Even though everything in this generation has to do with technology.
I agree that blogging was and still is a successful way for students to review subjects and topics that we reviewed in class and also allows us to express our feelings in a way that could is different by being able to type and depending on what’s going on in your background while your typing everything. Sure beats all those boring worksheets that all our other teachers give us: P this is a great way to learn and review things.
Also, by blogging no one can really use the excuse of “I lost my paper” or any type of reason why they shouldn’t do it, but the computer problem excuse, but still students can find the question and write about it. I mean who doesn’t have a computer nowadays.
                                                       I LOVE BLOGGING!!!!!

Words of Inspiration!

Lt. Col. Chamberlains speech was definately inspiring. He just went out and said how he felt, emotions and everything. I think there was even a few tears. Thats a man right there. Saying words of inspiration to keep his men going, hes smart and knew that would happen. I believe a moral idea can win the war, if you put it in your head that you will succeed then you acomplish what is on your mind. I know those men must have felt Lt. Col. Chamberlains emotions and sincerity, wanting to let them know that he knows how they all feel and will stand by them till the end. Thats what a true Liuetenant does, Guides his soldiers under his wings, but reminding them that he cannot do it alone. They must work together.

Reality < Stereotypes

Why do we live in a world thats not even reality anymore. Stereotypes. they surround every corner no matter what is said. All these years that have passed before us, have been filled up with stereotypes, from religion to race. No matter what the deal is, there is always something behind it thats not quite the truth. We all grew up with stereotypes thats why they surround us no matter where we go, and we hear them so often it almost sounds like the truth. How many of you thought black people, no matter what, will always love kool-aid and fried chicken? How many people believe that all irish men drink a lot and beat their wifes? How many people believe just because someones Arab their automatically assumed to be a terrorist? LIES! STEREOTYPES! Its time to take the stand and change all of these lies we've been through in our lives. Its not real, its not reality.

History as we know it.

Does history matter? If History didnt matter we wouldnt be here right now. We make history every day and it will always matter. Every step we take, and every word thats spoken makes history. History is what made everyone who they are today, where we are is from history. Everyones grandparents made history that has caused us to take their role in the world and create our own legends and paths. Everyone matters and everyones voice counts, no matter if your president or your walking to class, because of every small movement we make it causes something to happen in the future. Which will soon become history.

Government "sugarcoating"?

I think that the government has no right to teach younger students lies about history. History is history, its happened in the past, therefore you cannt change it. I dont see why the government has to sugarcoat all our history to make it look like were the good guys in everything. They never even show how we got defeated or the real Christopher Columbus. Its ridiculous how much the government tried to cover up to make America look good. I mean sooner or later were going to hear about it, like in my United States History class. I just cant believe that 16 years of my life was sugarcoated facts. We shouldnt be taught sugercoated history, because its not the truth.
Even though some, or a lot, of it will be negative, it still is history and cannot be changed no matter how much someone trys to cover it up.
